WE BUILD COMMUNITY BECAUSE IT BUILDS US.
because it fosters the most inclusive and most resilient qualities of our cities.
We build community because we know that no building can be an island unto itself.
We build community because it allows our developments to become the foundation of the new narrative.
We build community because there is no better return on investment.
We build community because we understand that parcels of land do not become energized by building on them, but by activating them.
We build community because it builds us.
We plan, promote and execute curated -gridcultural events that are specifically designed for the area being
activated. We look to span the entire day with our events-communal yoga in the mornings, makers markets in
the afternoons, live music at night-to convey that the area is thriving at all hours of the day. By working
with partners, sponsors and municipalities, we offset costs and create buzz in a cost-effective way.
We understand that food and beverage operators, retail boutiques, and cultural institutions are benchmarks of the social narrative. To this end, we actively seek out brands that will propel forward the mission and vision of our neighborhoods.
We leverage social media partners to create organic buzz that resonates within communities. In exchange for free admission to our events, we capture email addresses and create cultural outreach in the form of e-mail blasts. These are dispatched to large swaths of a demographic whose attention we’ve already captured.

MIAMI’S ARTS + ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT
This is
When NRI acquired a large parcel of land and an abandoned, foreclosed 81-unit loft building in an area known primarily for empty lots and dilapidated houses, it personally undertook the challenge of creating a neighborhood where none existed. In 2012, the young creative set of Miami felt unmoored by rapid development in surrounding areas, and NRI saw an opportunity to welcome them to a new neighborhood that would be created in their vision. NRI renamed the area the Arts + Entertainment District (formerly known as the OMNI District), undertaking the task of hiring the creative talent to brand and promote it through free, community-based activities.

NRI created enormous, organic buzz in an area that had merely been a pass-through just a couple of years earlier. Thousands of people showed up weekly to well-curated events, generating major buzz in the markets for Canvas Condos and Filling Station Lofts. Canvas Condos have sold faster than market expectations, and Filling Station Lofts are some of the most sought-after units in the area.
